Dr. David Tamisiea
David Tamisiea, PhD, JD, is the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Mary and an Associate Professor of Theology. Prior to his tenure as dean, Tamisiea served as the Administrative Chair of University-Wide Programs at Mary. Tamisiea’s chief areas of expertise in theology are in ecclesiology and moral theology, but he has a wide spectrum of other research interests, including the theology of revelation and development of doctrine; the relationship between faith and reason; Catholic social teaching; Catholic bioethics; and sacramental and liturgical theology.
