Dr. Jeremy Skrzypek
Jeremy Skrzypek, PhD, is assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Mary. He received his BA in philosophy from the State University of New York at Buffalo, his MA in philosophy from the University of Saskatchewan, and his PhD in philosophy from Saint Louis University.
His main areas of research are metaphysics, medieval philosophy, and philosophy of religion. He wrote his dissertation on hylomorphism, the theory that material objects are comprised of both matter and form, and he continues to think and write about how best to understand and apply this theory.

Dr. Michael F. Hickman
Michael F. Hickman, PhD, completed his doctoral studies in Political Theory at the Catholic University of America in 2014. Prior to beginning doctoral work, he practiced law for five years in South Carolina and Washington, DC. Other degrees include a JD from Ave Maria School of Law, a Master of Politics from the University of Dallas, and a BS in Psychology from the College of Charleston.
His scholarly interests currently focus on the nature of the political community and exploring how resources from Husserl’s phenomenology can be brought to bear on this question.
