After completing his undergraduate studies at Benedictine College, Dr. Swafford earned a licentiate in sacred theology (STL) and doctorate in sacred theology (STD) from the University of St. Mary on the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. He additional received an MA in Old Testament and Semitic Languages from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Bannockburn, Illinois.
