Dr. Ryan Womack

Ryan Womack, PhD, teaches Catholic Studies for Mary College at ASU and humanities courses at St. Mary's Catholic High School in Phoenix, where he is also House Dean.

Dr. Womack hails from Moore, Oklahoma, and he graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He received his PhD in English Language and Literature from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his research and teaching include the integration of literature and theology with science and technology, though his chief concerns are the development of Catholic culture and the defense of the family.

He previously taught at Baylor University, the University of Mary's Bismarck campus, and was Associate Director of Academic Programs at the Austin Institute for the Study of Family and Culture in Austin, Texas. His courses at Mary College at ASU pursue various integrations of literature, theology, and Catholic culture.

Dr. Womack is a husband, father, and amateur woodworker.
