Dr. Margaret Mary Summers

Margaret Mary Summers, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of History and Assistant Professor of Catholic Studies at the University of Mary.

Dr. Summers holds both an MA and a PhD in Medieval History from Saint Louis University, which she earned after graduating with a BA in Philosophy from Christendom College. Her research investigates the intersection between scholastic education and liturgy in the twelfth through fourteenth centuries, particularly at the University of Paris. In addition to experience teaching all historical periods from ancient to modern, Dr. Summers teaches Latin.
